Microsoft identifies one critical and one important issue in November's Patch Tuesday.

The most critical issue resolves several vulnerabilities in Microsoft XML Core Services which could allow remote code execution if a user viewed a specially crafted Web page using Internet Explorer.

The important issue resolves a publicly disclosed vulnerability in Microsoft Server Message Block (SMB) Protocol which could allow remote code execution on affected systems.
