Apple has issued a major security update for Mac OS X and Safari, which addresses 86 common vulnerability and exposure CVE entries.
If exploited by a malicious user, these vulnerabilities may lead to Cross Site Scripting, spoofing, exposure of sensitive information, privilege escalation or DoS.
The Safari update addresses certain critical vulnerabilities, one of which may allow an attacker to remotely execute code on OS X, Windows XP and Windows Vista systems.
