Microsoft indentifies six critical and five important flaws in February's Patch Tuesday.

The critical security updates reside in WebDAV Mini-Redirector, OLE Automation, Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office Publisher and Microsoft Office. If these vulnerabilities are successfully exploited they may lead to remote code execution.

Two important issues patched which may lead to denial of service have been identified in Active Directory and Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). Two flaws that may lead to elevation of privileges have been identified in Internet Information Services (IIS) and an important issue has been identified in Microsoft Works File Converter which if exploited may lead to remote code execution.
