Two vulnerabilities found in VMware software may be used to run multiple versions of an operating system on a single computer.
It has been demonstrated that these flaws may allow an attacker to take control of the VMware and Xen virtualization software when moving a virtual machine from one physical computer to another.
The vulnerabilities may be exploited by malicious or local users to bypass certain security restrictions and by malicious people to disclose confidential information, cause a denial of service or compromise a vulnerable system.
