Multiple flaws have been reported in Mozilla Thunderbird which if successfully exploited may lead to a number of well known security risks.

The vulnerabilities found may lead to malicious people being able to access sensitive information, bypass certain security restrictions or potentially compromise a user's system.

Some of the flaws will be patched in an upcoming version 2.0.0.12 and users are advised that disabling Javascript may mitigate some of the vulnerabilities.
