The UN's website has been defaced by hackers, forcing officials to take some pages offline. The hackers, who claim to be from Turkey, said that they were 'cyberprotesting' and had posted slogans accusing the US and Israel of killing children.

Hackers using the same names are also known to have defaced multiple websites.
