Six vulnerabilities were patched in Microsoft's June Patch Tuesday, four of which are classed as critical.

The critical vulnerabilities have been found in Windows Schannel Security Package, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express and Win32 API. Successful exploitation of any of the critical flaws can result in remote code execution.

In addition to the critical vulnerabilities, one important and one moderate flaw have also been patched. The important issue was found in Microsoft Visio and successful exploitation could also result in remote code execution if a user opened a specially crafted Visio file. The moderate flaw was found in Vista and could permit unauthorised users to access sensitive information such as admin passwords.
