A vulnerability has been found in multiple Trend Micro products that if successfully exploited, could permit attackers to launch a Denial of Service (DoS) attack.

The issue is present due to an error in the anti-virus engine when processing UPX compressed executables.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability can result in a Denial of Service attack and affects all Trend Micro products that use Scan Engine version 8.0 and above with Pattern File technology.
