Shortly after Steve Jobs announced that Apple's newest product would be the iPhone, hackers started to get excited about what they'd be able to do with it. The Dailydave discussion list was full of threads about the iPhone, with many discussion threads debating which processor Apple may use to run the iPhone.

Two hackers, 'LMH' and Kevin Finisterre have just launched 'the month of Apple bugs', which they say is an initiative to improve Mac OS X by finding security flaws in Apple software and third-party applications that are designed to be used on Mac OS X. LMH says that he'd love to get his hands on an iPhone, and is concerned that if it will be running on OS X, security implications will become evident, such as the possible misuse of wireless connectivity and spreading of malware.
