Wikipedia was recently targeted by a virus writer who uploaded a virus that was designed to collect information for future use in phishing campaigns.

A link created on the German version of Wikipedia supposedly directed visitors to a fix for a new version of the MBlast worm, but the 'fix' was actually a piece of malicious code.

As soon as Wikipedia was notified of the virus, it permanently deleted the infected page.
