The newest version of Internet Explorer, version 7, is currently available in Beta format, but has already experienced mixed opinions.

With tabbed browsing, IE7 looks less cluttered. Smaller toolbars provide a larger screen view area and a built-in search bar facilitates easier searching. One interesting feature is Phishing Filter, which uses the SSL certificate to warn users if they are accessing possible phishing sites.

Many say that as the code was somehow posted online before its release, it is pretty likely that malware is already available for IE7. As is to be expected in Beta versions, bugs have already been found, but more worryingly, security flaws have already been reported.
