Those using some Adobe products on multi-user systems could be at risk of having sensitive data accessed or deleted by non-privileged users. The file and folder permission settings can enable non-privileged users to access program files; the potential then exists for malicious users to replace program files with malicious code. The code could read, write, or destroy sensitive data if subsequently run by a privileged user.

Updates are available from Adobe to rectify these permission errors and the products affected are Adobe Creative Suite 2, Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Illustrator CS2. As a hotfix, administrators can fix the permissions on the directories under 'Program Files' manually.
